The Return of Milton !!!,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Milton's Christmas (Hardcover)
This Second Book of Milton's Adventures finds our Hero on Christmas Morning being...Milton.
If you already own his First Book, I would quess you want more of Milton's Adventures, and with this Book: "Milton's Christmas" you will be enjoying his Wonderful and Magical World right as he sees it. If you are New to "Milton", It is best that you start with his First Book as that will give you a proper introduction of Our Feline Hero. These are Wonderful Books that are Great Bedtime Reading for the Little Guys...AND...There are a few Big Guys that Enjoy Milton as Well! Milton is STILL...Extraordinaire! FIVE STARS !!!

Pictures for Children, Writing for Adults,
By A Customer
This review is from: Milton's Christmas (Hardcover)
While the illustrations are enticing and perhaps fun for children, I think the writing is aimed at adults. The one sentence per page is a good idea for young children, but... Why must every cat book have a cat trying to attack/fight a bird (this small book has two such pages, one of which the adult could explain differently.)? Why talk about nightmares instead of just saying crazy/weird/funny/odd dreams? Why say the cat "doesn't save wrapping paper," when it would be just as appropriate to the illustration and more to a child's mind to say it would "rather play with the wrapping paper?"
