The 2349-20 is a compact, cordless device with DC and USB ports to simultaneously charge and power up to five small electronics, such as cell phones, MP3 players, and mobile devices. Weighing less than one pound, and drawing its power from one lithium-ion battery pack, this charger can fit in your tool belt, pocket, or purse, and requires no electrical outlets.

The 2349-20 Power Port is compatible with most small electronics such as cell phones and MP3 players. View larger.
Ideal for use on the jobsite, at the campground, at the airport, and more, the 2349-20 provides extended runtime and an extra number of full charges. Additionally, you won't have to worry about the threat of theft from using public outlets. Instead, you can charge your devices in a private and secure indoor or outdoor space.

To help protect against the damaging effects of high current draw, the 2349-20 features electronic overload protection. If the current draw gets too high, the Power Port will simply shut down to protect itself and its battery. For added convenience, an LED lets you know the battery's charge status and if an overload circuit has been tripped, in which case you simply need to remove and reset the packet.

Reliable, long-lasting LITHIUM-ION power is just one part of a full feature set.
M12 Lithium-Ion Power: Compact, Lightweight, and Dependable

I've been using the Power Port for two weeks and here's what I've found.
It powers/charges every device I plugged into it -- iPhone 4, iPod Classic 4th gen, Garmin GPS, smaller mp3 player. I didn't have any problems with it cutting off like some others did. The biggest shortcoming was capacity to charge. When I charged my iPhone from near empty, the regular M12 battery (freshly charged) did not have enough juice to fully charge the iPhone. The M12 Red did have enough, but when finished, I put the battery into my Hackzall and it only showed one dot (out of four) remaining. So it took nearly a whole M12 Red to charge one iPhone. I was expecting to get at least 3 complete charges out of one battery, but no way. I have a smaller charger that runs on two AA rechargeable batteries that can equal this. I guess my complaint is more with the battery than the Power Port itself, but the bottom line is the system lacks capacity for my use. I'm going to keep it, but if I'd known then what I know now, I probably would not have purchased this.

Hey, it seemed like a good idea and I could use it to play a Sony Walkman CD Player.so I bought one from Amazon. The Sony Walkman uses two AA batteries or a 12v cig. lighter adapter. Milwaukee uses the M12 battery to power drills, screwdrivers etc Who would think the Power Port would be over powered by a Sony Walkman, but that was what happened. After a phone call to Milwaukee Tool (no help), I went to the Milwaukee Service Center in Fremont CA and they checked it out. Long story short the the Milwaukee Power Port is useless except for very low power applications like cell phone chargers. Milwaukee in Fremont allowed me to trade in the Power Port for a M12 LED Work Light. They gave me full credit for the Amazon charges and I made up the difference. They shipped it to me free of charge and I only had to make one trip to Fremont. I like the LED Light (albeit over priced at about $60). So I'm happy!

This Power Port is great for low powered devices like charging iPods, Phones and running LED Lighting.
However, Things that draw large current won't work. Things like air compressors, air bed pumps and the like.

I use this as a USB power source for recharging stuff. With the large batteries, it lasts a long time.

The only drawback is that when using the USB port, the 12V port is exposed. Anything metallic that falls into the 12V port could cause a short circuit and damage. My fix is to keep a piece of tape on the inside of the flap. When I use the USB port, I put the tape over the 12V port. Actually, I just leave the tape over the 12V port unless I need to use the port.

First impression: bigger than expected but still manageable. Does what its meant to do. It charges my nexus 4 with out a problem. It can almost charge my phone completely when I have low battery on my nexus phone. That may seem like a bad thing but my phone battery is much bigger than the iPhones smaller batteries. Don't expect this to completely charge you're phone completely once or more if you have a high end android with huge batteries. But you know what? For me this power port gives me plenty hours of charging while heavy use on the phone. I use my phone allot throughout the day and this keeps it going. Also if my phone is nearly completely charged and I plug in to this power port it will top it off and keep it fully charged over night with a bit of m12 battery power left over in the morning. I have noticed that it charges your phone quicker if you use the cigarette lighter 12 v port instead of the USB port.

Does have a battery indicator light for the m12 battery but it's not like the fuel gauges on other m12 tools. Only has one green led and when a battery is 10%-100% charged the light is solid. If less than 10% the light blinks slowly. Once the battery is depleted it flashes rapidly then shuts off to protect the m12 battery pack. When you insert a m12 battery pack it shows you the battery status for a few seconds. If a device is plugged in to the power port, the indicator light shows you the status of charge the entire time the device is plugged in. I still would have preferred the normal fuel gauge used on their other tools.

This gives you plenty of hours of charging. I had to give it 4 stars since I can't completely charge my phone from near dead on a red lithium battery. But it keeps my phone charging for hours and keeps me portable and away from the wall outlet.

I have tried to use this power port to charge a Nexus 4, Samsung Note, Samsung Note2, Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, Motorola Atrix 4g, Zune, and a HTC Inspire 4G. I had bought brand new extended batteries just to be used with this item. I charged the batteries and plugged it in the Power Port. The green light on the unit lit up. Every phone I tried would do the same thing. The Power Port would start to charge for roughly 10 seconds the shut off. The green LED light on the Power Port would flicker then shut off. Never got this unit to actually function. The Power Port is rated at 750ma output. My car phone charger is also rated at 750ma output. And my car charger works fine. I though maybe these brand new batteries were possibly the issue. but I tried them out on my drill and they work great. This power Port never functioned. Ever. So I cannot recommend this product.
