I like this drill, but the picture that was shown on the website showed several annular cutters and the twist bit drill chuck - when the package arrived none of these items were inside! Since then (a week or so later) the image has been updated, and a more comprehensive description has been entered on the website. I think that Amazon.com is great in many ways, but sometimes there is a shortage of information on the website, this is the first time that I feel that I have been let down.

This unit is compact. And looks like it will last us a long time. Make sure you understand what comes in the case and what does not. The 1/2 Drill chucks had to purchased elsewhere and were not in stock at all locations. So plan ahead and be patient. THis unit is excellent for field repairs and in house repairs that require odd angle drilling.

This is the second of this model of mag drill we have purchased.

It is easy to use and quite light. We use these up in the air at height all the time.

Safety wise I like the easy to turnoff feature if something or somneone gets caught in the drill.

You definately need to purchase the key type chuck to use standard drill bits.

we have an exposed moment frame in our 3 story home and i like setting this drill up in the over head position on the flange of the beam. the grand kids just love collecting the curly metal shavings on the ground. i also use this tool as a learning lesson on why it should be tied off (i will unplug the cord at any given time while the kids are in the over head position) and these 8 year olds learn fast. next week im going to break out the LN-25 and let them plug weld all those holes they drilled. they can use 232 or 211 i dont think it matters. i dont even think it should be shored up befor applying heat as we say in the trade just weld the damned thing. i just may look into safety glasses for the grand kids but for now they seem like more of a hastle finding a pair that can fit an 8 year old. really this is just a big toy.. allways remember to wash the coolent off your hands before eating.
