The Milwaukee 48-00-5026 The Ax 9-Inch Reciprocating Saw Blades are designed for the toughest cutting applications in wood and nail-embedded wood. These blades have a sloped shape for superior plunge cutting for demolition and remodeling work. The blades are 1 inch tall for straight, fast cutting, and an extra-thick, 0.062 inches, to prevent bending. A unique heat treating process extends the life of the blades, and bi-metal construction prevents them from shattering. These 9-inch long blades are ideal for cutting into walls that contain wood, nails, plaster and aluminum, and they feature a 1/2-inch universal tang that fit all Sawzalls. This pack includes 5 blades and comes with a 5-year limited warranty.

This blade is great for rough work. It doesn't bend when jabbing at wood to start the cut. It cuts nails off and stays sharp a lot longer than most blades.

Most of the sawzall blades are ok, so-so, and will get the job done in a timely manner, but if you got an AX blade, get ready to rummmmbbble. These babies are out to kick b--- and they don't care what's in the way. You framing,electical,plumbing, or just overall PROS had better check these guys out.

This blade is just as promised. Cuts through both pine and hardwood very fast. So far have stayed sharp. Milwaukee stuff is usually pretty good, so feel safe ordering these. When cutting off studs with embedded nails, have had good luck in going straight through them, even with 20d old nails. Suggest keeping the pressure moderate so as not to heat them up and they will last longer.
