I have two of the bigger ones that I bought with my drill about 12 years ago. About 2 years ago they started to fail, and recently they just refuse to hold a charge. I used to drain and recharge these batteries every day for about 3 years, so I have no complaints. This one will hopefully last as long, probably longer as I don't use the drill much any longer. How about that drill? 12 years and still going strong, no wonder they guaranteed it for life. I have co-workers that spend about half of what I did on a drill, but they have to replace them every year or two. Milwaukee has been acquired by a Chinese company and I hope the quality doesn't suffer.

Great product, lives up to the Milwaukee name. New design is slightly smaller than original, not as heavy.
