5.0 out of 5 stars More Charge for your Buck!
This is probably the best charger on the market. You don't need a radio, or a clock built into it (sorry homeowners). When you're working on a jobsite you need to know two things First where your spare batteries are at, and Second that they are charged and ready to work for you. With the 3 bay Charger you can store your spares and won't need an extra hand to carry them...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good for V-series, not compatible with M-18 Li-Ion batteries
I bought this back when I only had the V28 series products. (which are Awesome & full of power!) I planned on adding some 18 volt Li-Ion tools to my arsenal, and did not realize that Milwaukee's V-18 products are not compatible with their new M-18 products.

5.0 out of 5 stars More Charge for your Buck!, May 11, 2008

This is probably the best charger on the market. You don't need a radio, or a clock built into it (sorry homeowners). When you're working on a jobsite you need to know two things First where your spare batteries are at, and Second that they are charged and ready to work for you. With the 3 bay Charger you can store your spares and won't need an extra hand to carry them onto the site. The L.E.D. indicator can be seen from across most rooms, so when you start to loose power you'll know at a glance if your spares are ready. And it can take a beating from drops, falls and kicks. I have 6 of these chargers 2 of the Li-ion and 4 of the NiCad and when you're running a crew of guys working a job the last thing you need is down time to wait for charged battery. Milwaukee got this one right in my opinion.

I love this charger.
Very tough and solid feeling.
Amazed on how fast it can charge my (3) V28 batteries.
I know some people wonder why they did not integrate the radio - in a word "STATIC".

But I think Milwaukee could have done a digital clock...hummm as an add on to the face of this charger.
Highly recommend this for anyone that plans to do some serious construction.

only my charge bay #1 works. bays 2 & 3 flash the light green/red (which indicates that the battery is not making proper contact with the charger) no matter which of my 3 v28 batteries i use (note: all 3 batteries work fine in charge bay #1)

Never dealt with the issue because i used it in conjunction with the charger that came with my kit. Unfortunately that charger has stopped working so i need to send this in for repair.

I hate dealing with shipping for warranty.

this charger is a awesome concept for multiple battery users; i hope it gets resolved and it works properly.

This is a great charger. With my business we use about 10 batteries a day. This charger makes to where we always have some fully charged batteries ready for use. It charges our dead batteries in about 45 minutes. I used to have the single charges but they got a little bulky with all the cords hanging around. With this you can charge 3 batteries at once with only one cord.

Charge three batteries of any type pretty quickly. It seems to usually charge between 20 and 45 minutes. Sure beats three separate chargers. Super solid construction. Too bad the reverse side isn't the Milwaukee radio. Now that would be a tool!

I have used this job site charger for almost 3 years in South Florida, and thru out the state. YES, high humidity and several times in the rain, but with out a glitch! NO, it will not charge the M-18 Li-Ion battery, but for M-28 and V-28 volt use it cant be beat. Mine survived a 10 foot dump into swamp water, retrieved 30 minutes later, Still works. Home owners: this charger will work VERY WELL on a generator, as well as, household power!! Some chargers out there won"t!!!!

Works perfect except bay number three doesn't work at all. And I hate the hassle of boxing it up and returning it, and waiting for the new one. A little quality control would go a long way.
