Excellent Safety Glasses,

This review is from: Milwaukee 49-17-2350 MK2350 Gray Anti-Fog Safety Glasses (Tools & Home Improvement)
The primary reason I bought these glasses is not mentioned in the Product Description on Amazon.Com's Product page. I had to find this information elsewhere. They offer 99.9% UAV and UAB protection. Most glasses only offer UAV protection. After wearing them several days doing various jobs like operating a chain saw and splitting logs, I've desided to order a second pair. I need a clean pair in the truck and car for driving. They are the most comfortable safety glasses I've ever worn probably because of the unique nose rest.

Good safety glasses, but not THAT stylish,

Okay, these are a great deal on a comfortable pair of tinted, UV blocking, safety glasses. I purchased these because I needed polycarbonate sunglasses for mountain biking. When you're riding off road, sometimes branches hit you in the face and you don't want a scratched cornea or shards of glass in your eye. A decent pair of sunglasses sold for this purpose run about $50. So this was quite a savings. Also, the rubber nosepiece and ear coverings make them way more comfortable then the average pair of safety glasses and fairly comfortable compared to other sunglasses.
I just want to make one thing clear. These are very stylish FOR SAFETY GLASSES. However, don't go thinking you can pick these up and be all GQ for five bucks! Style-wise, these will not compete with fashion sunglasses like Oakley or Ray-Ban. As a pair of safety glasses, the product gets five stars for it's price to quality ratio. They are better and cheaper than what you'll find at the hardware store. Highly recommend.

Fogless? Almost More Like Less Fog,

You can fog these up, at least on a humid day. I did. But other safety specs would have fogged instantly, so I give them a 4 instead of 3. Other than that I love them and wear them as regular sunglasses as well, because they can be adjusted too fit, which on my big melon, most sunglasses don't.

This pair of protective eye wear is not only VERY comfortable and adjustable, but also stylish. They honestly look like a durable pair of designer sunglasses without the price tag. I prefer them over my Jones of New York sunglasses which cost 4x what these currently cost. One cannot tell from the photo but there is a red design on the frame tips. I started out wearing them while cutting the grass and doing yard work, now I keep them in my car and use them as regular sunglasses. I know it probably sounds odd to say these safety glasses are attractive, but these really are. I also own a pair of the less expensive Milwaukee light gray anti-fog safety glasses sold at Amazon which are very comfortable but are not as attractive nor do they have the adjustment feature. Those I still wear solely as safety glasses. I do not think you will be disappointed with either pair and for this low price, it is quite a deal.

Fantastic sun protection! (and fits over thin glasses),

I can wear these safety glasses over my thin, titanium frame prescription glasses. I just push the sides in all the way to make them shorter, and hook them over the sides of my prescription frames.
These are FANTASTIC sun protection for driving or simply enjoying a sunny day. No more squinting for me! I'm also extremely pleased that these block both UVA and UVB light--perfect for bright summer days in the South. The style looks plenty good on me, and the larger size of the safety glasses covers my prescription glasses entirely. I bought these during a fantastic sale, so I bought pairs for friends and family--I'm glad I did!

My husband meant 99.9% UVA and UVB protection, and they do not fog up when wearing a dust mask like all of his other safety glasses do. They will fog a little when sweating heavily, but not much.

These glasses are as good as it gets. Very comfortable, I think they look good, maybe other folks wouldn't but excellent for riding, going to beach, whatever you might choose:)

Got these for work in the field. They feel very comfortable and protect a large area of my face. Not the most stylish looking but great for some decent work glasses.

Glasses are very nice, came in handy over the snow storm, only defect is that they'r a little bit too bulky. If you have a "big" face they'r the perfect safety glasses.

Ya know, for the money, you really can't beat 'em. I'm going to try them for skiing, since they're supposed to be antifog. We'll see.
Pros: Low Price; Wrap around lens; Earpieces will adjust in length and angle; Dark enough for sun and snow; Soft rubber-like nosepiece. Cons: Not exactly fashion-forward; they're a bit big, especially for my narrow face; Not very snug (again, for my narrow face). But hey, you're not paying $175 for them! If you want to be cool, buy a pair of Oakleys or whatever. If you want sun and physical protection, these are perfect. You won't look like you're wearing those enormous sunglasses your 92-year-old uncle wears, but no one is going to mistake them for Oakleys either. So, they're not a pair of Bermuda shorts with black shoes and knee-high socks, but they're not Diesel jeans either. Okay, look, just buy 'em, they're cheap and you're gonna lose them in 6 months anyway. Buy two, they're cheap. |
