30 of 33 people found the following review helpful By Mike on March 21, 2014
I've used this for interior and exterior demolition and brush trimming. I decided to write a review however based on a problem I encountered that has some serious safety implications. The screw that holds the blade shoe on can work loose and cause the shoe to detach while the saw is operating. The shoe also holds the rubber sleeve/handle in place. Without the shoe, the sleeve slides forward towards the blade. If you don't notice this happening because of the vibration, you could end up having your hand slide right under the blade. Fortunately I was cutting over concrete so I heard the shoe fall off and hit the ground before the sleeve slid all the way off. It could have ended lot worse if I hadn't stopped cutting as soon as the shoe came loose, as the sleeve (and my hand) had already moved 2" toward the blade! Good thing I wasn't cutting brush over dirt, I might not have seen the missing shoe until my hand was wrapped around the blade.

There is no other recip like a Sawzall by Milwaukee. It's the second that I've owned. The first was stolen, and it was fifteen years old.
