The super sawzall is so smooth, you'd think you were running a drill. No other recip-saw even comes close in that area. I can run it for hours and my hand isn't numb like with the others'.It's not the fastest, but it's very close. The new metal quickloc blade clamp is definitely an improvement over the finicky plastic one.

2.0 out of 5 stars not all its cracked up to be
I am a contractor and have used this saw extensively the past 2 years. It replaced its predecessor but has not held up like the first. It's been in the shop a few times for the quick change breaking, and now is having a motor problem that is going to need fixing. The variable speed has also stopped working. It's been small items but they add up. The power has been more...

This review is from: Milwaukee 6537-22 Super Sawzall with Quik-Lok Blade Clamp (Tools & Home Improvement)
This sawzall will go through anything! Plenty of power and changing a blade is a snap. This saw has the capability to cut through anything, from wood to nails, any thickness. It's been easy to use and fun.

This is the best sawzall I have ever used.
there is very little viberation in the tool.
The quick change for the blades is wonderful and very time saving.
I don't know why I didn't buy this saw before.

5.0 out of 5 stars This sawzall is definitely super, November 25, 2000

Everyone knows that sawzalls can cut through almost any material: wood, nail-embedded wood, plaster, metal, (steel, cast iron, aluminum, black pipe, conduit, etc.) drywall, plaster,... you get the idea. When I used this to cut through floorboards and 2x4's it was as smooth as a hot knife through butter. Unistrut and allthread were also no match for this machine. This sawzall also has the new Quik-Lok blade clamp which allows you to change blades in seconds rather than minutes. There's no more searching for a hex wrench to change blades here.

I've been using sawzall's for quite a while now and I have always admired Milwaukee Sawzalls for their dependability and durability. The added power of the Super Sawzall and ease of use make this an ideal choice if your building something new, tearing something down, or fabricating something for a job. I would highly recomend this product to anyone who wanted to purchase a sawzall.

5.0 out of 5 stars Small chain saw!, November 30, 2001

This review is from: Milwaukee 6537-22 Super Sawzall with Quik-Lok Blade Clamp (Tools & Home Improvement)
I bought the Milwaukee 6537-22 to repair some damaged soffits.
My friend mentioned that the Sawzall, with the right blade, can
be used to trim trees. I had a 20ft tall Bradford pear tree with
two 5" diameter trunks that I wanted removed, and thought I would
try the Sawzall on it. It cut through the tree with no problem!
Very little vibration. Toward the end of one cut the blade bound
up, but the quick release blade feature came in handy: I removed
the tool from the blade, then pushed the section of tree over.
This is going to be a much used tool. A great product!

This was one of those tools that made me say "Why didn't I get one sooner?" If you can't think of something to get for a fellow that has everything, believe me he won't be disappointed with this. Recently I cut through 4 one inch hardened steel rods which were welded onto a stainless steel plate. I actually cut through the weld itself. It took about a 1/2 hour each but in the end the Sawzall lived up to it's name.

Before I bought the 6537-22 model I had used one rather reluctenly. My previous experience with a tool of this kind was less than remarkable except that it vibrated like crazy. The Milwaukee was so quiet and so vibration free, I knew I had to have one. I am very pleased and would recommend this product to anyone. It's unbelievable until you use it.

Milwaukee invented the Sawzall, and their newest version is better than ever. Smooth running, doesn't stall cutting tough materials, and now it has the same ease of changing blades as the competitors. You can't go wrong buying one.

I can not say enough about this saw. I paid a little more than others and I am glade I did. It is perfict for the tough sawing project. My girlfriend used the saw to cut up massive window dressing boards (do not ask). I thought it would take hours. She had them cut and in to trash cans in less than 30 minutes. If you looking for this type of was it is the one to buy.
