This is an excellant impact wrench. I have been a garage door installer for many years. I can easily spend most of the day with this tool in my hand and its performance is unmatched. Our company has put these impacts to the test. They are frequently dropped from ladders, but keep on working. When repairs are needed, they are easy to do and the parts are even easier to order (from Milwaukee). I even use it for those really tight lug nugs on trucks. The rocker switch is a must. Sometimes the pin doesn't want to let go a the socket, but with a little persuation it comes right off. Overall, excellant tool, great performance, and amazing durability. Milwaukee impacts are just the best.

This thing works GREAT! The price was better then I could find on the Dewalt. Then go read the specs. Its a better unit then the Dewalt. Look at the weight difference.

For the price (super saver shipping too) this is one great wrench. Takes lug nuts out in seconds. Too bad this model doesn't have the speed adjuster. All in all will make a lot of DIY's go a lot faster.

Needed to construct a structural plate arch pipe (13'X22'X36') using 2000+ 3/4" bolts. Used two of these impact wrenchs continuously for 4 days. Worked well, although the driving end became extremely hot during continuous operation. One developed a slight leak of lubricant on the shaft output end. Although "light weight", working overhead was quite tiresome. Allowed project to be completed on schedule and with both wrenches still operational.

This Gun Exceeds expectations more than I could have believed. I used this to drive 3" by 3/4 ( head size) and 4 1/2 lag bolts into pressure treated decking beams. At first I was pre-drilling to make it easier to go in. After a few try's I was drving them without pre drilling like they were going into butter. If you ever used a ratchet to drive lags this will pay for itself in one or two uses. Buy impact sockets though because this will snap regular sockets right off!

I initially had some doubts about how powerful this thing actually can be.
As soon as it arrived it tried it out on my lug nuts. Sure as hell, it worked.
The cord is a bit short so be prepared with extension cord.
The detent pin tends to really grab onto the sockets so also be prepared with
a small screw driver or something to release the pin. It is somewhat of an annoyance because it's hard to pull out the sockets without help, but I'll take the safety it provides thankfully... you don't normally change socket sizes much with tools of this type.
All in all great tool, it's served its purpose well.
You may wanna consider getting a cordless type if the cost isn't a concern as it'll provide much more flexibility, both while you work and where you can take this.

This is a great way to illiminate the need to spend 500.00 or more on a compressor and wrench set-up. An invaluable tool for every home mechanic.
