Featuring the largest ram and anvil of any cordless impact wrench and a rugged Milwaukee motor, this tool produces up to 325 ft. lbs. of torque! This impact wrench can achieve tasks only corded impact wrenches could do in the past. Removing large bolts and nuts from vehicles and equipment and driving large lag bolts deep into wood can easily be accomplished with the 9078 impact wrench. The tool also features a heavy-duty 25-amp Marquardt™ switch and an all-metal front housing to withstand rough job-site abuse. Besides its durability, the tool is also extremely comfortable to use. A mid-positioned handle provides better balance. The cushioned grip area, variable speed switch, and easy-to-use forward/reverse shuttle lever make many tough jobs seem effortless. The anvil has dual retention systems: hog-ring and thru-hole. With TWO of Milwaukee's long-run time 2.4 amp-hour batteries, users will find that they can complete numerous tasks before requiring a recharge. The universal charger is capable of handling all of Milwaukee's 12 volt to 18 volt Power Plus batteries. The 9078-22 comes with the Impact Wrench, two 2.4 amp-hour batteries, one hour universal charger, impact-resistant case and two socket retaining rings.

How can this be the highest rated at 350 ft lbs when the 1/2 drive cordless Milwaukee is rated 450 ft lbs

I bought this after finding out that the SIP wrench I had did not have replaceable bushes, and they were worn out after 14 months. This rendered the wrench scrap. I checked out other wrenches available but none were rebuildable (including the Snapon ones others in my workshop use). I had to bring it in from the US, and use it with a 12v charger (which suits me as I'm a mobile mechanic). This wrench has worked tirelessly for 2 years and given no problems I've had one battery die last week, but was happy to buy another. This tool has really done some work! The wrench has loads of grunt, on a fully charged battery it will undo anything our shop-air wrenches will.
