This cast iron Milwaukee Valve MW222B series wafer-style butterfly valve has Buna-n rubber seats and seals, a nickel-plated ductile-iron disc, a lever handle, and flanged connections. Made of cast iron for higher corrosion resistance than steel, this wafer-style valve fits between two pipe flanges and is designed to retain a seal against two-way pressure to prevent backflow in single-direction systems. It has Buna-n rubber seats and seals to provide increased water, oil, and chemical resistance, and the ductile-iron lever handle provides manual flow control. The disc is made of nickel-plated ductile iron for durability and resistance to wear. The maximum pressure is 200 pounds per square inch (psi) for use with water, oil, and gas (WOG), and the working temperature range is 10 to 180 degrees F.
