My only grand child (5 months old) will call me Mimi so I thought this would be a good book to add to her growing library.

What a fun, sweet book. Lots of energy and pre-schoolers will love the illustrations. The story line is one that young listeners can follow and enjoy. Lots here for caregivers or teachers to share.

I picked this book up because the cover caught my eye since it is a crafted 3D artwork. Inside art is just like the cover. The story is simple and sweet as we follow Mimi through her day. One embarrassing part for Mimi is she is without her undergarments as seen by mom in public. I am intrigued by how the writer and artist crafted the book. Since my daughter is crafty, I borrowed it from the local library to show her different ways to tell stories. Today I just picked up two more books that also have crafty covers.

I love this book and had to buy our own personal copy after borrowing it from the library.
My 3 year old wants me to read this book daily. She literally has memorized it and reads it to me at times.

Wish the author would come out with more Mimi books.

Absolutely lovable charater. Short but very sweet and touching story line.

Mimi is one of the most charming children's books to come along in ages. The illustrations are wonderful; the author uses cloth cut-outs to illustrate the book and she absolutely captures the stance, motion, and attitude of a preschooler. Moreover, the text is spot-on and completely reflects the world of a little kid (such as Mimi setting the table and needing two forks because she likes forks). I have a four-year-old, and she loves this book. What's great is that she recognizes that Mimi is just as silly as she is (and enjoys seeing something of herself in the book). Given that parents frequently have to read the same book over and over and over, this is one that you won't get tired of reading.

I bought this for a friend's daughter. It quickly became a favorite! The illustrations are absolutely charming, and the story is cute and easily understood.

This book is a wonderful small child's book. Both the story and the illustrations are child-friendly - especially the bunny slippers. Hats off to the writer/illustrator - she has captured and climbed into a child's imagination. Whew! Thank goodness Frank was found!

This book is absolutely darling...and funny! The illustrations are cloth dolls- photographed instead of drawn. You'll feel like jumping into each page to be with the characters, they're so cute. I hope Mimi becomes a series, we'd grab them all! We've got tons of kids books and this is our favorite. Its easy to appreciate all of the time, hardwork and creativity that the author put into this book.
