Good numbers counting book for toddlers,

This review is from: Mimi's Book of Counting (Hardcover)
A delightful, colorful book about counting featuring Mimi the monkey and her benevolent grandmother as they spend the day together counting stuff... Author-artist Emma Chichester Clark recreates the magic of her "Blue Kangaroo" series in this bright, appealing volume. The thick, boardbookish pages of the first edition have a pleasant heft to them, giving this book a pleasant feel, and an accessibility for both adult and smaller readers. Recommended!

This review is from: Mimi's Book of Counting (Hardcover)
Mimi is a delightful little monkey who is visiting her grandmother. Together, they count items including jars of honey. cans of food. flowers, fingers and toes until they have counted from 1 to 10. The warm and humorous illustrations show the close relationship between Mimi and her grandmother. The format of the book makes it a very practical and durable book for preschool and primary grades students. The pages are heavy glossy paper, the pages are stitched together with small stitches, and the strong covers can easily be wiped clean. This format makes the book one that will be durable through many happy readings.
