5.0 out of 5 stars Very informative book on living with cancer, November 19, 2000
By
This review is from: Mind, Body, and Soul : A Guide to Living with Cancer (Hardcover)
This is a very special book. It is as though Nancy Hassett Dahm speaks to the reader. It offers a broad range of information and answers many questions anyone with cancer would have. It helps people journey through their illness with dignity and self respect. It offers hope and strength because it provides people with knowledge - the knowledge that it is possible to attain a level of comfort that makes their journey more bearable. It also offers a spiritual component to it that is so extraordinarily helpful in times of need. This book is a powerful tool for any person or family member experiencing a diagnosis of cancer. It is a wonderful book and I would highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars PEACE OF MIND, October 20, 2001
By
This review is from: Mind, Body, and Soul : A Guide to Living with Cancer (Hardcover)
MIND,BODY AND SOUL GAVE ME RENEWED STRENGTH FOR MY RECENT CANCER OF THE FOOT. IT WAS AN EXCELLENT GUIDE FOR MY HUSBAND, AND THE BOOK SHOWED ME INTERESTING WAYS TO COMBAT THE PAIN OF MY CANCER.
NANCY H.DAHM CERTAINLY HAS THE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE TO PROVIDE HER READERS WITH IN-DEPTH INFORMATION AND THEREFORE GAVE ME PEACE OF MIND. NANCY PROVIDES ONE WHO HAS HAD CANCER OR LIVING WITH CANCER, WITH A PHILOSOPHY OF "LIVING" AND DYING WHICH IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE TREATMENT!
I HAVE FOUND THE BOOK AN INSPIRATION IN OVERCOMING MY FEARS AND STRESS WHICH CANCER ENTAILS. I RECOMMEND "MIND, BODY AND SOUL" WHOLE HEARTEDLY FOR ANY PERSON OR MEMBER OF A FAMILY THAT HAS A CANCER PATIENT!
