"Be warned Mind Control Hypnosis is not for the faint hearted or for those wearing rose tinted glass about the use of hypnosis and mind control. Dantalion gives it to you with refreshing honesty and a no holds barred approach.
Despite having been practicing hypnosis formally for many years I learned an amazing amount from Mind Control Hypnosis. I was particularly impressed with first half of the book which contains theory, advice and specific practical steps that you can apply in any hypnotic practice. The second half contains complete transcripts with Dantalion's commentary. Again even if you don't share the author's applications there is a huge amount that any hypnotist can benefit from.
Mind Control Hypnosis is written in a practical way with lots of good ideas that are easily transposed to your own hypnotic practice and is a good read for novice and expert hypnotist alike." --Rintu Basu, Author of The Persuasion Skills Black Book, www.theNLPcompany.com
Finally! Finished reading Mind Control Hypnosis. It is a fantastically written piece of work. I have read hundreds of books on hypnosis, NLP mind control, etc. And when I find a book that is clear, concise, free of fluff it gets added to my "A" list.
This will definitely be a book I will not only refer to over and over again it will be one that I refer to any all of my students and clients. With all of the inductions and explanations this book is a must read, re-read and re-read again.

Disappointing rehash of rubbish - Catchy title, No substance!,
This review is from: Mind Control Hypnosis: What All The Other Hypnotists Don't Want You To Know About Hypnosis (Paperback)
I was excited with the blurb of this book, so much that I wasted money priority shipping it.
Well, boy was I mistaken. If you have purchased any of the authors other books, then save your money as this title consists of A LOT of copy and pasted material (around 50 pages copied directly from his other titles - mind control patterns and perfected mind control), as well as about 15 pages copied from other sources detailing what other people through time defined hypnosis as. When looking for the "secrets" that hypnotists don't want you to know about, I found none. At least the hypnotists I've trained with would have scoffed at the statement if they had the misfortune of reading this slapped together load of tripe. The only hypnotists who may be surprised by anything in this book are those that have done a two hour course. Anyone else would know better. As for the testimonials provided by others such as Rintu and Mark Savage, it is worth noting that this author has pages dedicated to on-selling those people's products. If that isn't coerced testimonial then I don't know what is. Honest testimonials and feedback hold more credence Dantalion! If only a person could imagine buying a car that looked great, only to pop the hood and discover it had no engine... that sums this title up nicely. Very disappointing given some of the material this author has offered in the past! Save your money with this one!

This review is from: Mind Control Hypnosis: What All The Other Hypnotists Don't Want You To Know About Hypnosis (Paperback)
Until now, the most helpful and honest book I've discovered about hypnosis and mind control has been Carla Emery's "Secret, Don't Tell: An Encyclopedia of Hypnosis". I continue to be amused and saddened whenever I read a statement from a celebrated professional that hypnosis cannot be used to influence humans to perform acts that would normally be unacceptable. I look forward to the day when our society accepts the reality that the power of suggestion can be used as much for harm, as it can be used for healing. I believe that it is especially essential - when working as a mental health professional with clients who have suffered from trauma or abuse - to use techniques and interventions that - unlike hypnosis - help to develop and/or reinforce those clients' INTERNAL locus of control.

A book that shines a light into dark corners,
By Tom Marcoux (San Francisco, CA United States) - See all my reviews

Do you ask what's really going on here? If you want the unvarnished truth, this book will provide it. Dantalion Jones provides four specific elements of what gets people to do things that they later regret. That's not easy to read. The book is controversial, and it will make some people angry. Other people - perhaps you? - will say, "Now I understand, and I'm glad that I read this book."
