5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing
I thought I had put in the wrong CD the first time I listened to Mind on the Moon. Forget all previous CDs by Snow. I was looking forward to hearing songs like Rivertown, SugaCain and Day and Night, but there are no songs to compare on this album. Instead Daddy Snow shows off his versatility and song writing abilities. This is a grown up Snow album. While it is...

3.0 out of 5 stars from my hometown too
Everybody wants to be like you was a generally good song I could relate to but it was overplayed like crazy on the radio. I've got to give it to him for being in the game for so long though. What a shame the US considers him a one hit wonder for informer cause that he is not

Nothing On Me could be a top 10 hit, but sadly will go unnoticed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Snow rocks!, September 24, 2003

Great music. And from my hometown in Canada! What more do you want? In this album, Snow (Darrin O'Brien, for those who may not know), has the perfect mix of ultra-smooth Reggae and uplifting pop. What he sings about we can all relate to. His new album, Two Hands Clapping, I would say is a bit more edgy, appealing to rap-reggae fans, while Mind on the Moon is more a feel good album, more pop-reggae with smooth hits such as "Joke Thing", "The Plumb Song", and more harmonic music throughout.

I heard him live when he "cut the ribbon" so to speak, for the new Yonge-Dundas square in Toronto. He brought his kid out on the stage, hand in hand, and sung "Everybody Wants to Be Like You" to the crowd, what a great performer! He turned his life around 180 degrees and has become a role-model for many of us. And his music couldn't have sounded better. 5 stars.
