Advance praise for Mind Over Bladder "Where is the closest bathroom?" If you listen hard enough, these are the words you hear from the lips of millions of women as they enter malls, lobbies, museums, libraries-any public gathering place. You are capturing the clarion cry of incontinence, perhaps the single most disruptive functional disorder affecting the quality of life in women. Patient awareness and education are crucial since her participation in curative planning is essential for effectiveness. At last we have the necessary informative vehicle in this ingenuously constructed book created precisely for patient consumption. Dr. Jill M. Rabin is a nationally recognized authority in the specialty of urogynecology and female pelvic medicine. Dr. Rabin is a kind and compassionate expert in the management of this embarrassing and debilitating condition that afflicts millions of women across the nation. Her book is truly a godsend in its potential to help the female beleaguered with incontinence achieve a much improved quality of life. Simply put, goodbye, wet pants. --Dr. Marvin H. Terry Grody, Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School"I had little expectations when I first went to see Dr. Rabin about my bladder problem. Now, almost two years later, I can say it was the best decision of my life. She was extremely comforting, and her treatment plan was very manageable. I never thought I would be able to feel comfortable in my body, but thanks to Dr. Rabin, I now have control over my incontinence and finally feel like a normal person." --M.A.

For anyone who has dealt with bladder problems or loves someone who has, MIND OVER BLADDER is the answer to your prayers.Technical enough to be helpful, simple enough to be understood by the "technically challenged", and well-written enough to actually entertain, it provides an enormous amount of information and lots of positive reinforcement to solving each person's individual issues. Give it as a gift. The recipient will be eternally grateful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Every woman should own this book!, February 23, 2009
This review is from: Mind Over Bladder: I Never Met a Bathroom I Didn't Like! (Paperback)
If no one wants to talk about incontinence and leakage, how did Dr. Rabin figure out a way to present the information with such wit and clarity that now I want to tell everyone I know about this book? We read anecdotes from her many satisfied patients, so we know we are not alone. And there is so much information about what to do to alleviate our problems. Women, suffer in silence no longer! Read this book, and pass the word on!

5.0 out of 5 stars All women need this book!, January 16, 2009
This review is from: Mind Over Bladder: I Never Met a Bathroom I Didn't Like! (Paperback)
Who would have thought that a book about attaining continence could be so interesting? Not only was this book humorous, it was obviously written by people who know how to present and explain complex information in a very understandable and enjoyable format. It was so useful for many different "situations" that women face on a daily basis. It "brought out of the closet" a very real problem that is often not discussed and overlooked by many. Every gynocologist should make this mandatory reading for their patients!
