I would recomend this to anyone who loves to color or doodle. I used permenent markers to color mine and every page turns out beautiful. By using these markers you can see the color from the back side also thus creating a different look. Warning... this can be addicting!!

All the kids, me included-enjoy these mosaic coloring pages- everyone has a different tact in picking colors and designs, it's interesting and takes time and they actually sit for quite a while to color!

At first I was dissapointed by the relitive simplicity of the designs. this feeling quickly subsided as I came to realize that the simplicity also made it easier to color, harder to mess up on and far more relaxing than say the "mystic mandalas" or "geometrics" books. if you are at least 10 years old, or are getting a present for someone who is... then I strongly reccomend buying this book. the paper is nice and thick and there are 2 copies of each design in the book, so sharing is a non-issue. if you like art get this book!

I bought this book for myself and my son. We already own a few of them, but they are slightly less detailed. I thought that this one would be a nice challenge for him. I haven't gotten to color in it yet! He loves the designs, especially after he has personalized it with his own color scheme. He takes great pride in showing off his finished pieces, and I couldn't be more proud. This item arrived very quickly and with no problems at all. It is great for children and adults, especially when you want to get away from the TV or video games and spend time together.

I have colored many mandalas and similar coloring pages before. While this one may not be my absolute favorite, it is definitely up there at the top. Each page has different elements and a world of possibilities. I personally use colored pencils though I think that watercolor would be great as well. As a therapist I have used these pages with clients as a means of managing anxiety and depression as well as encouraging self-expression. And at home I often use them to wind down. I wish there were more out there like this!

I think this pattern book is fun. I like that it is single sided and it has two sets of the same pattern. for those of us that need extra copies. I recommend it.

This is a different kind of coloring book. My oldest hasn't lost her interest in coloring at age 13, but she wanted more unique things to color, which is why I bought these. She has really liked them and there are some really cool looking designs in it and they look even better when they are colored. The are detailed, however, and require a lot of time. My daughter works on it for a half hour or so, and comes back to it later.

My 7yo picked this and 3 other Mindware coloring books with his birthday money. He loves them! We really like that the pages are blank on the back. The reason I bumped the rating down is that most of the pictures are in the book twice. So even though there are 23 coloring pages, there are only 12 different pictures. The 12th picture, which is the middle page picture, does appear a second time in the book--on the title page and therefore smaller. I certainly didn't realize he would be getting so few different pictures, and was rather disappointed with Mindware for doing that. It doesn't bother my son, though. He just sees it as an opportunity to try it a different way or to start over if he messes up on the first one.

I bought this coloring book, along with several others, for my grandaughter's birthday. SHe is old enough to enjoy the challenge of this type of book. In my opinion, it would be too challenging for anyone under the age of, say, ten or eleven.
