5.0 out of 5 stars A must for every parent or grandparent... kids love it!!!
This is such a clever program for having the insight to make learning manners FUN for kids. The gimmick of using the adults as the "bad examples" is quite funny and really hits home for the kids when they see the absurdity of bad behavior in a variety of settings. 2.0 out of 5 stars didn't like the attitude
I didn't watch the whole thing. In the table manners section I didn't like the suggested attitude - feeling superior to those who lack manners, looking for mistakes other might make and discussing them very negatively. Even though it's done for the sake of learning, I wouldn't want my children to adopt this attitude. This by itself is not good manners.

This is such a clever program for having the insight to make learning manners FUN for kids. The gimmick of using the adults as the "bad examples" is quite funny and really hits home for the kids when they see the absurdity of bad behavior in a variety of settings. I showed this to four tough neighbor kids (all about 12-years old), and they loved it, all wanting their own copies! The next day, I saw two of them cleaning up a knocked-over trash can... which is a 180-degree change in prior behavior! Is Mind Your Manners to credit for turning rough kids into little angels? That's my theory! Check it out!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and Informing, April 17, 2007

Based on the cover of the DVD I was reluctant to purchase it. I did not know exactly what to expect watching it for the first time today. It was a bit cheesy in the beginning and throughout certain parts of the DVD but then again...it is made for children ages 5-12. I am planning to show this to my students and teach each segment separately after we talk about it, model it and hopefully instill these good habits in their lives! As a bonus...I had also learned a few etiquette tips myself! It is well worth the few dollars I spent purchasing it from a private seller off Amazon.

Clever lyrics, bouncy songs, catchy melodies... it's all part of an ingenious way to secretly teach kids about manners while they're having fun. It works! Check it out!

By turning the "table", good mannered kids see adults doing outlandish things.
Excellent teaching tool. Topics are diverse, video moves at good speed from one situation to another.

This video is great. It kept the kids interested and their manners have improved 10 fold in all aspects of life. It is a bit cheesy, but not to the kids (only to the parents!). I highly recommend for all children to watch as manners is something this world is definitely lacking these days.

I purchased it for my 11-year-old. We watched it together. It was corny but good cause it gets to the point. Hey I even learned something and I'm a mom..hahaha. I recommend it. Perfect for kids to watch at class.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bit cheesey, but the kids got a good laugh, June 9, 2011

This is a bit over the top, but my kids giggled during the whole thing. It does have some good lessons. At least the kids are entertained while learning some good social etiquette.
