I love Logic Links, and so do my students. This is actually the 3rd set I've purchased because I think this is so wonderful. I'm a teacher and use this as a challenge activity for fast finishers/morning work. It is a great tool to promote critical thinking/reasoning and following directions. I cut up the book and put the pages in sheet protectors and then put them in a binder. I also divided up the chips into 2 baggies so that multiple students could use this at the same time.

The Logic Links box set is excellent. It's a great puzzle for kids from 1st grade to 5th - the one requirement is the ability to read the clues. I use it in my class and the kids really enjoy solving the puzzles.
The book version is useless! It comes with paper chips that are not durable like the plastic ones that come with the box set. The paper chips are also much larger than the printed puzzles which means you must create your puzzle on the table versus laying the chips right on the clues themselves. Buy the box set, it's more expensive but it works and it's fun!

I use this book in my tutoring business. All the tutors rave about how much fun it is and how it builds cognitive skills such as focus, working memory, and using both sides of the brain simultaneously. I even find the tutors doing it themselves!
