I love this grill. I spent a lot of time researching indoor grills before I decided on the Minden. Make sure you heat up the grill very well before you put things on it.

Pros: -The food comes out tasting just like you had grilled it outside.
-Easy cleaning. Dishwasher safe and or pop in your self cleaning oven.

Cons: -The lid is not high enough. When I try to finish artichokes on the grill the lid is to small to cover them.
-It can create a lot of smoke and flare ups. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have lots of windows.

I was very excited to get this grill for my birthday after researching the best indoor grill. I started off making grilled zucchini and found it to be pretty smokey, but the taste was good. I next tried grilled chicken and felt like I was going to pass out from how INTENSE the grill smoked!! I had opened all the windows before grilling and it was still terrible!! I have used it one time since with chicken also, and the same result. I would honestly use this grill several times a week if the smoke wasn't so bad. I will again state that the taste is good, and is pretty close to real outdoor grill flavor. I just can't get over the smoke!!

I never write reviews but . . . I bought this grill for vegetables because I am a vegetarian and only need it for a few specific recipes. I was hoping against hope that this grill would be an answer to prayer and bingo it was - AWESOME is all I can say. For what I need it for there is no smoke and it does a fabulous job - I just spray the grill with oil and I get the best grilled eggplant, zucchini, etc with a right of the grill taste. No running back and forth to a BBQ not having to buy propane and best of all cleans up in the sink and pops right into my dishwasher. The cover could have been a bit more dome shape but kudos Minden Master on a grill well done (pun intended ;-) this is opening up a whole new cooking world for me and my family....

Ordered grill and it works as discribed. great for indoor cooking but you must have very good ventilation.

Just bought this stove and so far so good, it keeps temperature with the lid on, and I used for grilling fajitas, today I'll try chicken but I'm pretty sure it's the most close thing to outdoor bbg grills

the flavor of the fajitas were great I'm not a lover of electric grills and that's why I really recommend this one

If it wasn't for the smoke like other reviewers mentioned, I would give this grill 5 stars. I've tried other indoor grills and grill pans and none of them were as easy to clean as this one and none of them made the food taste as great. For delicious taste and convenience I can deal with the smoke.

I have a microwave with a vent above my stove so that goes a long way in sucking up the smoke. I also open the window a little bit and I heat the grill and cook with the cover on. I never put it all the way on high. This grill has been awesome for cooking chicken, steaks, lamb, etc. I even make a little tray with foil paper and grill onions. I recommend using PAM Grill cooking spray to keep cleaning up easy. For me, the investment was worth it.

I purchased a Thermador range and the hood for a grill. I was talked out of the grill function on the stove (which I regretted) but still had this powerful hood. I live in San Francisco and the weather doesn't always hold up for outdoor grilling. I had been looking for the perfect indoor grill and had several failed attempts until I got this one. I love, love, love this one. It grills just like the outdoors and if you don't have the proper ventilation you will probably set off a few fire alarms. The bottom section of this can be hard to clean but I boil some water in a separate pan and put it in a dutch oven and when finished with the grilling I place this piece in the boiling water and it cleans it right up. There is no reason to get an outdoor grill if you do small amounts of grilling and you have the proper ventilation. I am so glad this product came along.

The Minden Master Range-top Grill is perfect for anyone who wants delicious grill flavor and the convenience of cooking indoors. We've tried cooking both chicken and steak filets with great success. The meat seared beautifully on the grate and we were able to maintain a consistent cooking temperature with the lid on. The range-top grill is also very easy to clean. We just removed the silicone handles and popped the grill and grate into the dishwasher. A great value and terrific gift idea!

This definitely smokes up the house. It also sits a bit unstable on the burner. All in all, it does give an outdoor grill flavor. I need to play around with it a bit more.

I purchased the Minden Indoor Range Grill about a month ago and I am so happy I did! I live in an apartment and have always wanted to enjoy the fresh taste of grilled food, but never had the opportunity at home. Now that I have my Minden, a huge array of possibilities have opened up. I did research on what kind of indoor grill I wanted to purchase. Though there are some that are less costly, none that I could find gives you authentic grill style cooking like Minden. The unit is really easy to clean and produces very little smoke (does produce some, but that is expected when you are cooking under direct heat!) which is easy to control with the lid of the unit on. I have used this grill almost every night since I got it....Chicken, grilled veggies, hot dogs...so many possibilities! If you are looking for a great quality indoor grill I would highly recommend the Minden Indoor Range Grill! LOVE IT!
