American author Nick Wilgus has lived in Bangkok since the early 1990s, working for many years at the Bangkok Post. His "Father Ananda" books have been translated into French, German, Spanish and Italian. Wilgus lives with his wife and son, two dogs, and a varying population of frogs, toads and mosquitoes.

A very well written book with all of the elements present which readers of "mysteries" want: an interesting protagonist, interesting atmosphere, satisfactory plot.
