Pioneers of Brutal Dutch Metal, August 31, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Mindloss (Audio CD)
Going back into time (about 10 years I guess) this album, Mindloss, was definitely pioneers work. Brutality, speed and gorgling vocals still make this album one of the alltime deathmetal / grindcore classics. If you're a fan of either of these heavy influences, you'd better get this album immediately! The original and - for those days - un-northodoxe guitarriffs are still unchallenged and the stumage turning lyrics are as gore as it can get (with true gruntings not many lead "singers" can produce). This debut album was, as said, their first, but also the last with Alex van Schaik (lead-Guitar) and Marc Hoogedoorn (Drum).

Mindloss is a great debut!, July 6, 1999

Although their own sound is not quite, Gorefest rages mightily on their first disk, Mindloss. The vocalist sounds like a crazed bear and the band grinds with the best of 'um. I recommend it!
