About the Author

Sonya Lynde lives in Syracuse, New York with her husband, her son and two cats. She enjoys getting up before the sun and sitting outside with a cup of coffee and a notebook - or a good paperback.

When writing, Ms. Lynde tends to create characters that are real and have real problems, drawing on her extensive family that's spread across fourteen states for inspiration. She likes to believe that people can identify with characters in a novel, and hopes that everyone finds a little bit of themselves in her heroes and heroines.

She is also a natural-born peacemaker, and believes firmly in happy endings - in her novels and in real life. 'Midnight Angel' is her first novel, and Ms. Lynde says of the work: "Love triumphs through two parts determination and one part sheer luck...if only real life worked this way!"

Ms. Lynde has two more novels underway, and her future plans include building a house "that looks just like the mansion in 'Midnight Angel.'"
