When this song was released in August, I was so happy this was her new song because I fell in love with it. Its well written but it's also so catchy. The chorus is amazing, and probably my favorite part. Another positive is the video. She looks great in it and the video has a great storyline.

Really sad to see that there's a decent amount of people who dislike this song. In my opinion, it doesn't sound like her previous work that much. People say it's a boring song, but I don't see how?

...and although it still retains that "too-cutesy" kinda feel to it like a lot of pop singles do, this song is great in demonstrating what it's like to see Taylor grow up a bit. There are tons of hints at this all throughout the album too including songs like "Enchanted" (my favorite from the album) and especially "Haunted" which I didn't like much the first 15 or so listens, but has grown on me immensely. Love the vocal work.

But this song is very catchy country pop. It contains guitars in all the right spots to make crossover appeal and is very sing-songy if you are into that type of thing. It's still not a favorite out of all the singles that were released so far ("Back To December" being my favorite and "Sparks Fly" right behind it), but I do like it like I said.

Now on Taylor's Wikipedia page, it is said that she has written 20+ songs for her next (untitled for now) album and they basically have a very sad feel to them. So all of the tracks like "Dear John" and "Haunted" were just a taste of what's to come if Taylor gets her way and doesn't let the direction of her album change. However, it wouldn't really hurt to see some upbeat tracks on the album too just for balance.

Whoo, that was long! OK. Adrian out!

4 stars.

I am not a great fan of singers who are given other people’s songs and then told how it should sound, There is not any of them in the music. It is like I play the piano, I can hit the correct notes, but it is mechanical and soulless, so I no longer do it. There have been a bunch of singer/songwriter that I have respected and some I liked since I was young. Buddy Holly, Arlo Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Donovan, Joan Baez, John Denver, Joni Mitchell, Jim Croce, Neil Diamond, Carly Simon to name a few off the top of my head. As you may have guessed I am not young, I am 70 so am well outside of what is considered Miss Swift’s demographic.

She puts into words and music what I (and I belive everyone else) have felt at some time in life, and I belive the job of a singer/songwriter is to give voice to those of us who have no talent. I would place Taylor Swift in the list of Great Singer/Songwriters, who’s work I enjoy. Jerry Lee Lewis was also a great singer/songwriter he put his hart soul and body into his music, but it did not connect with me, Post hoc ergo procter hoc I do not purchase his music I do and will continue to purchase Miss Swift’s work.

I really like studio recordings of taylor swift and love this song. I don't recommend hearing her live stuff... she just doesn't sound very good, can't really hold a note very well. BUT, this song on this version recording is great. Enjoy.

I kept hearing this song repeatedly in stores and figured the only way I was going to get it out of my head was to pay 99 cents on Amazon to burn it onto a cd so i could listen to it in my truck, in such an emergency.

Love Taylor Swift! Her music is genuine and this is a great song. I downloaded it for free with credit because I was looking for a new ring tone. Very easy, have not tried to import it into itunes yet.

a theme most of us can relate to, told in a sweet -not too deep- way. A lovely summary of how valuable "the right one" really is.

Good song. Can leave you feeling like you and you can relate. But remember Swift is making millions and she doesn't care about her fans.
