A Short Review of Mines, Minerals and Miners,

Finally, a book about the mining industry in Western North Carolina and the families who made their living in this hard industry. The reader will develop a good foundation of knowledge regarding the specific mining operations in Western North Carolina. Mr. Presnell made sure he gave credit to the miner and their families by relating several stories about both the good times and some very sad moments those families endured.I would highly recommend this book as both educational and entertainment value. Mr. Presnell has a very interesting style of writing and I look forward to his next book. Thank you.
