5.0 out of 5 stars Great companion to Trails of the Angeles, January 31, 2006

This review is from: Mines of the San Gabriels (Paperback)
If you are a fan of Robinson's Trails of the Angeles, this book is a necessary addition to your library. This book gives more detail to the historical exerpts in "Trails". I was compelled to learn more about the interesting historical backgrounds given for many of the hikes in "Trails". I found mines of the San Gabriels both interesting and easy to read. Robinson fuses together old miners tales with historical reference. Highly Recommended
