This reader is a wee shiny black plastic box with a cable that plugs into the USB port of your computer. Whole thing weighs almost nothing, but if your laptop only has USB ports, this is a must have. Another tiny, very handy add-on for the traveling computer. Feels a bit fragile, but seems to be standing up to frequent use.

For some types of memory cards this works. It works fine for my Sony memory stick pro duo, although for some reason it sometimes takes a few unplugging/plugging back in repetitions for the usb to recognize it, and that is on any computer I use it on. I also tried to use it with my phone's micro sd card. No matter what I do it will not pick up on the micro card. I would suggest buying a different product if you want a reader that will reliably read all media cards.

The material of this product seems rather cheap, but it is working well for me so far. It is very compact, which is convenient, and pretty much self-explanatory. It is not very difficult to use. However, if you have more money, and would like to have a better quality one, it might be more worth your money. Considering the material, and overall quality, it is not worth the price.

I ordered this for using with an XD picture card. It would only transfer a few (3-5) pictures at a time before stopping. Very frustrating, but for $3 oh well.

I have an HP mini and need a card ready. This one works perfect and has not failed me yet for the price.

The actual device is much smaller than one would expect from the photo. works well on xd, sd and mini sd cards.

This product does what it says and it works pretty good. I have only tried the xD slot so far, but I can get the pictures off the card and onto my computer. It is small which is nice, but it feels, like it may fall apart at any time. But, for the price if I did break it I would just buy another one.

I bought a webcam from the same company and needed to buy more items in order to get the free shipping, so also got this item. It's really small in size, and has a small piece of the plastic case rattling around inside, but I plugged it in and it reads my camera memory card perfectly, so all in all, it seems like a good item so far.

The item did not work at all. Every time I plugged the item in my computer said "USB device not recognized". I tried the item on both a pc and a mac with the same results countless times. When I emailed saying the product was not working they sent me an email telling me to restart my computer and that was it. Bottom line this product is a piece of crap that never worked. I was ripped off don't make the same mistake as I did.
