I have 2 adapters for my micro SD HC card. The first time I put it in, it didn't work. The adapter was recognized, but the memory card in the adapter did not get recognized. I replugged it, and it worked. I put in songs...and as I was about to put in my 18th or so, it just closed out of nowhere. I replugged it again, and it didn't work again.
Of course, I tried the other adapter, and same problem.
After many frustrating attempts of plugging in the USB cord back in and out, I realized that the adapter didn't fit well into the port because the parts inside weren't lined up well with the plastic covering. I just took apart the plastic that it was in and fit in the adapter. Finally, it worked.
It's quite annoying to pick apart the plastic and put it back in for each use, but hey, it works. It feels cheap; I mean, it's weak plastic. But it's cheap, so you get what you pay for.
Update: The card reader fails to work at all now. I bought a different card reader and it works. So the culprit is the reader.

I usually don't write reviews, but this one I had to warn people for. I wanted to use this product to read my SDHC card. I plugged it into the computer, and at first it recognized the files. However, when I tried to copy the files from the card to the computer, it stopped recognizing the card reader and the light on the reader shut off. I've tried troubleshooting this several times, but it seems like the poor construction of this card reader simply does not make this a reliable purchase. I generally am skeptical about extremely cheap products, and I suppose I should have learned my lesson on this one.

This is a great item to have, even if your not constantly editing or creating digital images. I got it just to make downloading photos from multiple sources easier. It has done just that. Also has helped loading pictures onto digital frames much easier. Comes with a USB to Mini USB cord. Very handy item to have. The one I ordered was blue, but I got a smoke/grey one instead. Not a big deal unless your trying to color co-ordinate.

All-in-one my A$$
It doesn't do Smart Media, the only thing I needed it for. How much would it have hurt to add one more slot? Useless.

All in One Card Reader
This little thing seems to work just great. I haven't tried all the different cards yet, but the ones I have have been read just fine. Good product, good price.
