I checked this out from a local library looking for breed info and found a gem for all KINDS of chicken info! Awesome little book, with all kinds of chicken care ideas, coop info, etc. Great for reference too. Am now going to buy a copy!

I thought this would have been mostly about the breeds with pictures and care of each breed. Turns out the first half of the book is filled with tons of information from housing to food. Lots of information summed up and not dragged out over several chapters. Straight and to the point. Well written and informative. The one thing I will note is in the title it says "Mini" Encyclopedia. I assuemed it meant the info inside but the actual book is Mini. Just thought that would be note worthy in case others thought they were getting a larger picture quality book. This is not the case, Measures 5 Inches maybe.
