Product Description

Use this practical slicer/shredder for all jobs, big or small! Practical and simple design is easy to use without the mess of large food processors. It feeds from the back and comes with an attached food feeder that pushes the food down. The large slicing disk is for slicing potatoes, carrots, onions, cucumbers, beets, apples, and other fruits and vegetables. This blade reverses for french fry cuts. The medium grater disk is for coarse or medium shredding of potatoes, carrots, celery and other vegetables, and it reverses from a very coarse to medium coarse. The other disk is a fine grater for bread crumbs, cheese, nutmeg, nuts, chocolate, carrots, and potatoes.

I bought this shredder 3 or 4 years ago, but today I think you can find something cheaper. I found myself lately using different tools like mandoline (I paid $15.00 for) and hand grater, which probably was $10.00. This shredder a little bulky and when use small hole's disks with softer vegetables (carrots are fine) it is not processing so well and food is coming out mushy.
