If they last me a few seasons, I would consider them to be very well worth the money.

While not the warm, amber color of incandescent lights, these are very close.

I strung up a couple of these on 2 small trees in front of my house interconnected with some extension cords activated by a simple timer. Even though they're LEDs, they cast a really nice warm incandescent-like glow. Not sure what people mean when they look too "blue". Maybe a previous production batch? I've only used them outdoors but overall they get the job done. If they last me a few seasons, I would consider them to be very well worth the money. Would give it a 4.5 if I could - after all they're just lights. Also good for non holiday mood or accent lighting.

These lights are very beautiful. I am using them in a fake tree for year round decorations. They are much brighter than I expected them to be. The color is not quite as warm as what you get with the traditional lights, but it is definitely not that harsh blue light that you see on some LED lights. They also seem a little bit bigger than the traditional mini lights. Anyway, I am very pleased with the lights and hope that they last as long as advertised.

I decided this year to start switching to LED holiday lights because I felt they'd be more efficient, less prone to burn out and just as bright. They are all of those things, but something I hadn't considered before is that I really do enjoy the warmer colored lights. I was a bit disappointed by how cool and almost clinical the temperature of the light emitted from them is, but they are on my tree right now so I wasn't THAT disappointed. Another thing worth considering is if you enjoy (or may enjoy) twinkling lights, these certainly don't do that either, but of course they are not advertised to. Just attempting to point out some things to consider before you make your purchase.

As for the quality of the set, it's very good. The housing of the "bulb" has a textured/opaque pattern on it, so it looks like the entire light is lit. As opposed to some other LED lights where you can see the actual diode or the location of the diode. The cable is green with three strands interwoven, so it is a bit thicker than the standard two strands you'd usually see on a regular light kit but hardly noticeable once it's on the tree. The lights are of course cool to the touch, and the package comes with a few extra bulbs so they are replaceable.

Overall I'd certainly recommend them, even with the few caveats I stated earlier. Happy Holidays!

These lights are REALLY bright, a little too bright for my taste. They are also "cool" in color. THey have been demoted from the Christmas tree and will hang outside from now on. I bought some "warm" LED lights to try next year. These were also pricey in my opinion. The "warm" LED lights I bought were the same length, same # of lights, from a different store for about 40% less.

These lights are great. I use them all year round on a ficus tree in my living room. I have them on a timer so I never come into a dark house. I walk into a nice warm welcoming glow in my living room.

Great lights especially for outdoors. I used them for my 7 ft Christmas tree and like what others have noticed they are atleast 60 percent brighter than your standard clear christmas lights. I used a 3 way dimmer which made them just right. I used 4 strings which filled up the tree nicely. The seller didn't mentioned the voltage but they operate on 120 VAC 50/60 Hz. They come with few spare bulbs but overall, they use less electricity than the typical bulbs.

I bought these lights to replace our conventional (non-LED) white lights that burned out. But when we put these new LED lights on the tree with our old conventional colored lights, these LED lights completely "outshined" the colored lights, but not in a good way. You could hardly see the colored lights. This problem might be fixed if we got colored LED lights too. (** Update: the following year we tried using these with colored LED lights on the tree, but we still hated it. The lights are so much brighter than the ornaments, it almost makes the ornaments back-lit, like silhouettes. Plus, I hate the blink-effect, and for some reason, a multi-colored strand of LED lights gives the overall impression of being way too blue-heavy. This year, we're back to plain old, power-sucking, tree-drying, fire-hazard conventional tree lights. **)

The lights also produce a glaring bluish light, not a soft off-white light. And if you move them, it looks like they're blinking really fast. It's not that noticeable when they're on the tree and you're sitting still, but when you get up and walk across the room, out of the corner of your eye it looks like the lights are flashing really fast -- the same effect as when you see an old computer screen on TV news. I'm not sure if this would be noticeable to everyone, but it is to me.

On the up side, these don't get hot or dry out your Christmas tree. They also work really well inside a pumpkin, if you use Christmas lights to light your Jack-O'-Lantern.
