Editorial Review
The three-wheel Preschool Scooter is a good solution for toddlers who, watching older siblings, have contracted a bad case of scooter envy. In front, two 4-inch urethane wheels are placed eight inches apart for stability; at the back, there's a 3-inch wheel and a "spoon" brake just like on those metal "big kid" scooters. This vehicle is mostly plastic, but sturdy enough for the job, with comfortable foam grips. A cleverly designed "lean-and-steer" mechanism at the front axle makes it significantly easier to control than some three- or four-wheel toddler scooters. This one resists the tendency to tip over when going around corners.
