5.0 out of 5 stars Well designed, easy to install and easy to use
I am using this shower for a while now, and it works very well. As opposed to Bidet Ole, which I also own, this was a snap to install, and - very important! - has a flow regulator to adjust the power.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bidet spray review
Overall, spray is as described. The spray is constructed well.
The negative issue, is the hose connecting between the water outlet and spray.
The hose is just a plastic tube (~1/4 inch). The connection between the tube and
the spray is the new locking mechanism. If you do not shove the tube all the way
in, the water will leak.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bidet spray review, October 13, 2009
This review is from: Mini-Shower - Bidet & Multi-Use Hand Held Sprayer (Tools & Home Improvement)

Also, if you attempt to spray, and you do not have the valve turned on, the pressure

will loosen the connection and water will leak (or spray all over).

I've made adjustments, and I am fine with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Down Under Relief -- and I don't mean Australia!, May 19, 2005
If you're like me and sit down a lot, sometimes it helps to be extra clean. You know what I mean.

This device is handy when you are menstruating or have anal issues. Spray it, don't scrape it. Put away the toilet paper and say hello to your new best friend!

5.0 out of 5 stars cloth diapering must!, January 8, 2008
By
I use a dry pail. I guess my son has very sticky poop, because it does not "fall off" the fleece of the diapers. I am pregnant right now, and poop makes me sick. This sprayer has some serious pressure on it! I remove the insert, and spray the poop right off. I think it will be awesome for after delivery also. I think my husband uses it, although he denies it (haha). It was very easy to install, took about 5 minutes. I only needed a phillip's head screwdriver to put the toilet clip together (it can hang in the tank or the wall). The handle being away from the toilet seat is very nice if you are using it for yourself instead of diapering. I looked at three different brands including the Cotton Babies Bum Genius Diaper Sprayer. I also looked at cloth diapering websites/retailers to see what people recommended, this was the best, and cheaper than the bumgenius sprayer. I love this, and my son loves to watch it spray!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Leaks Like a Sieve, October 9, 2009

This item is poorly engineered. The antisiphon portion is attached below the toilet tank and is unstable. Perhaps a cone washer intead of a flat one would have helped. Repeated efforts at installation in accordance with instructions were unsuccessful. The assembly leaked like a sieve. I returned the item.

Look for a sprayer with the antisiphon device resting directly on the toilet shutoff valve for stablility and to prevent leakage.

3.0 out of 5 stars If only it would not break . . ., January 25, 2010

This review is from: Mini-Shower - Bidet & Multi-Use Hand Held Sprayer (Tools & Home Improvement)
This is a very useful device with an overall fine design. But, it will break. I know because this is my 3rd unit. These won't survive a full year of service if used several times daily which I do. How unfortunate that a nice product is crippled by a fatal flaw. The trigger (black plastic) is used to move the valve for control of water flow. However, it accomplishes this with two plastic "fingers" which are simply too lightweight and fragile for the task. Either a metal actuator or heavier plastic is required. The company will suggests that the customer may have dropped the unit. Nope. Use it regularly and you will be replacing it regularly. I wish there was more pride in manufacturing.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE this product!, February 11, 2008
By
Feetsy (Austin, TX) - See all my reviews
I put this on my baby registry with the intention of using it to spray off dirty cloth diapers prior to washing. Even though our new baby hasn't arrived yet, my husband installed it as soon as we received it. Initially we had some problems with it leaking, but it was easy to fix. Now I absolutely love it--I have found so many uses for it!

My daughter is currently potty training, and this sprayer is perfect for spraying out her potty after she uses it. I also use it to clean the toilet and the sink when I clean the bathroom (it is great for getting out soap scum buildup from under the faucets on the sink). As far as bidet use, the water is really rather cold for that application, but it works. It would be nice if it could use warm water, but I like it so much for its other uses that I don't really mind. I'm sure it's going to work great for our cloth diapers, too.

I would highly recommend this product to others! I really can't say enough about how useful it is. We're even planning to get another one for our second bathroom.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Product, July 21, 2007

Queen La Tivo "QLT" (Washington DC area USA) - See all my reviews
I love this product, if it could use warm water I would give it five stars. However, even with just cold water, this product is great. I am so nice and clean, it is a very nice feeling. I now really hate to go at work or out anywhere, not nearly as fresh. Seriously, all commodes should have such a thing built in. I went to the Caribbean for the first time recently and got to use a bidet for the first time as well. I have been on a quest ever since. This is a great, very affordable, option. This thing was easy to install, although I admit I had a male friend install it. It would have been worth if even if I had to hire a handy man or plumber. If you know five guys, one of them knows how to install this, I promise. And I don't mean to imply ladies could not install it themselves, just not my thing, I am sure many women could install this on their own. But why would we when some guy can do it for us. ;-) The product arrived quickly, in a small box with all the parts necessary. If you live in a 35-year-old house, like I do, the occasional valve may need replacing, but that was because my plumbing is ancient, the product is great. I recommend this to anyone with a toilet.

2.0 out of 5 stars Easy to install, but warning: high pressure sprayer!, January 6, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Mini-Shower - Bidet & Multi-Use Hand Held Sprayer (Tools & Home Improvement)
I ordered this sprayer with the intention of using it to spray off cloth diapers into the toilet. It was easy to install, however, the head leaks after each use. It has a shut off valve which you are supposed to turn off each time -- however, even when it is closed the head leaks. I believe only the water left in the sprayer itself can escape. I doubt it will flood my bathroom, however, the 2 tablespoons of drips are pretty annoying. Also, on the packaging it is advertised as "high pressure sprayer", which wasn't in the Amazon item description, otherwise I would not have purchased it! I *thought* this sprayer had adjustable pressure, however, the only way to control the pressure is with the shut off valve, which is meant to be a binary valve and does not work well in terms of lowering the pressure. Also, the shut off valve is waaaay down at the base of the toilet, which is not convenient in terms of single-handed use when you are holding a dirty diaper. At full force the stream is hard to control, and splatters poop around the bathroom. Not good! I really cannot imagine using it on private parts!
