This MiniDV rack is made of "high-impact molded plastic" and is manufactured in the US. The walls are about 3/8" thick and it's quite sturdy. It's matte black with interesting swirl patterns in the plastic.
It has three mounting holes so you can mount it vertically or horizontally--you don't need to put screws in all three holes.
All in all this is a well-made product and I'm happy with it.

It's supposed to hold Mini-DV tapes and it does. It is not much to look at, and in my view it is overpriced for what it is (making it easier for me to go with 3 stars instead of 4), but it beats a jumbled drawer of tapes. Has openings on back to wall mount it.

It's hard to find a DV storage rack. This one is sturdy and fits them very well. It's strange it only has mounting holes on 3 corners, and no screws are included, but 3 are enough to hold it and you would probably need different screws depending on the mounting surface anyway. It makes is much easier to organize tapes than the stacks of 10 on a shelf I used to do.

DV Tape Rack
I have expanded my tape libray 3 times now and always relied on these racks. They meet my needs perfectly and their size makes it possible to be very flexible in hanging them.

Holds 50 MiniDV tapes
Simple product. Does a great job. Nothing to complain about except the price. I think that since there aren't many products like this, they can charge whatever they like.
