Mini DV Tape Storage Rack for 50 Tapes

This MiniDV rack is made of "high-impact molded plastic" and is manufactured in the US. The walls are about 3/8" thick and it's quite sturdy. It's matte black with interesting swirl patterns in the plastic.

It has three mounting holes so you can mount it vertically or horizontally--you don't need to put screws in all three holes.

All in all this is a well-made product and I'm happy with it.

It's supposed to hold Mini-DV tapes and it does. It is not much to look at, and in my view it is overpriced for what it is (making it easier for me to go with 3 stars instead of 4), but it beats a jumbled drawer of tapes. Has openings on back to wall mount it.

It's hard to find a DV storage rack. This one is sturdy and fits them very well. It's strange it only has mounting holes on 3 corners, and no screws are included, but 3 are enough to hold it and you would probably need different screws depending on the mounting surface anyway. It makes is much easier to organize tapes than the stacks of 10 on a shelf I used to do.

I have hundreds of mini dv tapes and during certain sports seasons, I add two to three tapes each week. Thus, a mini dv storage rack sounded like a great idea. In fact, I purchased several of these racks because I wanted to organize my tapes. The problem with the racks is that there is no cover to keep the tapes from falling out of the rack. If I had to do it again, I would purchase a mind dv tape rack with a clear cover attached on top.

Great construction. Built like a tank. I forsee years of use outof this little rack.

I'm a part time videographer, and this thing is perfect for storing my mini dv tapes. It was so perfect that I bought 2.

These work wonderful. Before I had purchased these I had my tapes sitting in piles all over the place. If you want to get organized and clear up some of the clutter this is a great product. Keeps the tapes safe and secure.

For the longest time we had boxes with our digital video tapes. Now that we have these great wall mount storage holdres, we are not only organized but find tapes fast. I highly recommend this product for your storage needs.

Great product, sturdy and can be hung. Does everything it needs to. We used these for our library of mini-DV for our production company.

I'm delighted with the product - finally a way to organize our tapes instead of heaping them in a box. However, it would be better with a lid of some sort, preferably clear, to eliminate dust and the possibility of dumping them out upside down.
