Although it has nothing to do with the item itself, I must admit that I really enjoyed opening the little package this incense set comes with. There's a plastic box that opens in two halves where everything is contained and it slides out from the inside of a sleeve with the product information. Inside of the plastic box is a disposable plastic mold where everything sits neatly and protected and all ready to be set up. There's a little package of sand underneath this..
It's really pleasant to unwrap, LOL. The item itself is indeed novelty/toy quality, but it doesn't LOOK cheap at all. The only issue I'm having with "cheapness" is the clear string that holds the bells suspended under the torii stand. That's no problem at all, because if you really want to display it somewhere and it's such a peeve, you can easily replace that string with something else. There are no seams anywhere, so as a decoration this kit is solid. I'm not a fan of the included incense, but it's standard quality (I've bought cones with the exact scent and burn-time from Earthbound) and they're not unpleasant at all. I'll upload a customer product picture so I hope that helps. Would make a great gift! I'd enjoy it if someone bought it for me and I love incense. ^_^

It arrived quickly, in great condition and goes perfectly with my black zen garden tray (11 by 7 size).
It doesn't make an annoying noise (quiet and calming), and it really tops off my rock garden beautifully <3 Very peaceful purchase.
