But I was pleasantly surprised, even a little amazed at the improved body & texture of my hair the first time I used this dryer. And it's an improvement that holds up all day, even in the dry winter air that usually leads to static.
And for those with normal/thicker hair, this is a perfect travel-sized dryer -- set the heat to "HIGH" and be amazed at the power that this wee dryer packs. Also, I love that it has dual-voltage settings, one for the U.S. and the other for Europe (and wherever else they use 250V) -- just pack along your outlet adapter and you're set! PLUS, this dryer won't weigh down or take up room in your suitcase at all.
***EDIT: A week before buying this blowdryer, I'd gotten the ends of my hair trimmed. After using the Mighty Mini for a couple of weeks now, I've been able to maintain healthy-looking ends, which is a huge achievement for my fragile hair. I really do think that the combination of letting most of my hair air-dry and then using a low-wattage hairdryer like this awesome Conair one is what is saving my hair. Could not recommend it ENOUGH.
Lightweight, takes up very little space and comes with a stylish silver storage bag
Great for travel and sturdy enough for every day use
Can be used in other countries with prong type adapter
The tourmaline technology which is supposed to be less damaging for your hair
Its little and so cute! makes adorable gifts
It does dry my rather thick hair pretty decently and gives a bit of body but don't expect salon type effects with this one
It doesn't have the cold air setting
It's small- 5.5" from intake end to nozzle, and 6" from top to handle bottom + the ~1.5" cord lead- doesn't take up any more room than the few folding travel dryers I've had. The squeaky clicks of folding travel dryers always makes me wonder if the next snap might means a chewed/caught cord or broken joint, so I'm stoked about the solid-state handle on this dryer, even if it takes more flat space- still packs thin at ~2.25" at thickest in its 6X8" bag (which can expand up to 4.5" at the bottom). Got the fuschia dryer with zebra bag, which was handy for keeping the 2 attachments, my other small combs and clips, and an easy stuffing of its loosely-gathered cable (rather than spending time winding the cord around which still twists and wears on it, and unravels in your luggage). Finding no retractable-cord dual-voltage mini dryer of satisfactory durability at the time, this was the one I decided on.
Unfortunately the airstream is as skinny as the nozzle- just under 1.5" diameter, but the diffuser attachment spreads the air a little (haven't tried the concentrator).Read more ›

Got this for my daughter for her 10th birthday so she would stop borrowing mine and not returning it. I've used this a few times in a pinch and it is really powerful for its size. Read morePublished 11 days ago by MG
By far the best travel hair dryer I have ever used. I bought this one to replace one I have carried on trips for years, and accidentally left behind in a hotel room in NYC. Read morePublished 15 days ago by Jeffrey D. Lane
