I'll make this brief:
Cons: Took the vendor 3 days to place the shipment but it arrived 2 days later (5 days total for you math wiz's out there). It all evens out with regular shipping but just annoying that it took them 3 days to ship it.
Pros: Pretty high quality for the low cost. I shopped around and decided to risk it with this one. Definitely happy I went this route. Functional keys on the top of the keyboard (like screen brightness, etc) all work and keyboard has arrow keys (a blessing, I think).
My thoughts: Again, totally surprised at the quality of this thing for only ~$30. It took me a while to settle on a keyboard and I mainly picked this one because it satisfied what I was looking for and was the cheapest. Syncing took only 1 try and is super easy. iPad fits snuggly putting it in the protective position (screen down on the keyboard). Keyboard automatically shuts off after 15min so battery life is good and fires back up at a touch of a button. The box and directions it came with does look a bit shady, with grammatical errors and such so idk how customer service for this will be, but product is great and for the price, who cares about customer service?
One thing I did find was that when typing, the first 2-3 letters you write, the response is about .5 seconds slow. But once you're typing there is absolutely no lag. If you let it sit a minute without typing then start up all of a sudden you'll notice a slight lag for those 2 letters but then it catches up and is not a big problem at all.
All in all, I'm extremely happy with this product and was borderline giving a 5/5 but waiting 3 days to ship was just annoying. Other than that, I recommend this to everyone.
UPDATE (12/11/11): I have been using the keyboard all week for studying/ taking notes/ surfing the web and I am still as satisfied as I was when I first got it. There have been no problems with the product so far and it has definitely made my iPad experience better.
UPDATE (5/7/12): Keyboard is still going strong and I have since recommended it to several friends in my class, all of whom have gotten it and have liked it as well. HOWEVER, quality is starting to show for a $30 keyboard. Before I get into what's wrong with it, I want to say that I still use it everyday and I STILL recommend it, but just for closure sake, I wanted to update with the things that have gone wrong. There are mainly 2 problems I've encountered in the vast amount of hours of use-- 1 problem being functional and the other being aesthetic. Problem 1, functional) There are times when the keyboard gets a little "dumb" and just starts acting slow and responding slowly. This happens rarely, but will happen after a few hours of use at least once a week. The keyboard will all of sudden stop responding as quickly. At this point I will just turn the keyboard off then on again and the problem is gone. Awesome. But let's say you're taking notes and don't want to turn it off/on well then you might get one of these examples "here I am taking notes, keyboard has started to respond slowly but I don't want to turn it off and on, going to see if the problem resolves itself nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnope it doesn't." Yes, it will randomly go berserk like that as if it's stuttering. But again, turning it off then on fixes everything. Second problem, aesthetics) the space bar has started to show wear on it with white speckles starting to show through. Eh, it's not so much a problem but whatever.
