I bought this in January for my Kindle 1 and have used it exclusively since then. The stand feature was the main selling point for me. In the last few weeks, the top grip has unfortunately become too loose to hold the kindle reliably in the stand when in the upright position. I've tried padding the grip with cardboard and foam, but neither have been reliable. The bottom left grip is the only tight fit at the moment. This is unfortunate, because this is a very sturdy case that I had been extremely satisfied with until recently. I suppose I could try velcro next, but I really hadn't wanted to attach something permanently to the Kindle. I will probably end up sacrificing the stand feature and buying a competitor's case.

I bought this case for my Kindle 2 and found out that it was made for the Kindle 1 only. I liked the case so much that I put my kindle in upside down so the buttons wouldn't be covered and used it anyway. I am not able to use the reading stand function, but my Kindle is still protected. If they come out with a case that is made for the Kindle 2, I'll buy it.

I purchased this for my daughter as a Christmas present for her Kindle and the darn thing left a terrible scratch on her Kindle my daughter is heartbroken! I called Amazon to get some satisfaction but there was none to be found :( If you love your Kindle stay away from this JUNK!

Even though it is very pretty it is not stated in the description it is for the kindle one only. I was very unhappy to find out that it is now i have to return it at my expense. It would have been a great product if it fit my kindle two. The shipping was great it was here a day early and like I said it is so beautiful but if you have a kindle two keep it moving.
