Bought this for my sister for christmas, (she collects hippo-items) and she LOVED it! Perfect item for hippo-enthusiasts. (Not that there are many...)

I was so excited to get this for my car (I LOVE hippos).

On the positive side, it looks exactly like it does online, and I love to watch it wiggle when I hit a pothole.

On the negative side, the piece on the bottom that's supposed to anchor it to the dash doesn't work. I ended up having to get some of those photo-mounting squares so it wouldn't fall off. Also, the glue that holds the top half of the hippo to the spring that makes it move is really cheap. It ended up melting in the summer heat, so when I got in my car one day, the top half of the hippo was on the floor. Good thing superglue fixed that issue.

Overall I'm happy to have a hippo hula-ing on my dash, just wish it had been made better.

this was this years "joke" gift. turns out it was not thought to be the joke gift since it was liked so much. All the family loves this little gal.

Cute little figure. Useless though. We bought two of these figures.....two cars. The stick stuff was all dried up and no good. So we can't use them in the car....where they wiggle from the motion. We bought them for granddaughters....they are very disappointed that they don't work. It was expensive for shipping and we will just put them in the goodwill box as we don't want them if they aren't going to be fun. I won't buy from this seller again. Gave one star as they were fast is shipping and product was cute.

The actual figurine is what I expected, but the expensive shipping is unnecessary as this product is made in Japan. Next time I want something Hawaii'n, I will look for alternatives. Four stars because the item is as described, not five because of the huge made in Japan label.
