The F4U Corsair was developed for the United States Navy and Marine Corps as an aircraft carrier based fighter in World War II. The “bent wing bird” continued as an operational fighter and fighter-bomber during the Korean War from 1950 to 1953. This plastic assembly kit represents a later F4U-5N radar equipped night fighter used in the Korean War.
