5.0 out of 5 stars Humorous and Informative, June 11, 2000
This review is from: Minimum Impact Camping: A Basic Guide (Paperback)
I recently purchased Minimum Impact Camping because it had some "what to bring camping" lists that I wanted. But I didn't realize until I purchased it what a fun book it is to read. The authors blend a lot of camping, hiking, and canoeing information around humorous antecdotes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very fresh, very useful, October 20, 1999

This review is from: Minimum Impact Camping: A Basic Guide (Paperback)
This is a hidden gem. I can't recall reading many camping books that are capable of making you laugh , but this is one of them. Also a very timely and important subject, with hordes of people overrunning our national parks and contributing to the destruction of wild America. Buy it, read it, treasure it - and follow its teachings!
