My mother always believed that a fine Bible was the most personal gift you could give someone. Receiving a Cambridge Bible from my parents was a mark of their acknowledgment of who you were becoming in Christ. Today, I still consider my Cambridge, 'my' Bible. It's fine leather, paper and binding have weathered my late adolescence, college years and young adult life in very good condition, and most of the wear it bears is the fault of the bearer, not the manufacturer. On our wedding day, my husband gave me a new Cambridge, this time a NASB, with my new name engraved on it. I treasure this volume as well, and I expect a lifetime of use from it.

In short, if you are looking for a Bible that will age gracefully and meaningfully, get a Cambridge. If you want a Bible to keep in your camper, get it from another manufacturer. Like my father always says, you get what you pay for. -sarah-

I finally take my Bible everywhere I go. This is a perfect fit Bible. The font size is very easy to read and it lays perfectly flat. Good quality leather, not as soft as calfskin but it will soften up nice over time. Cambridge knows how to make em! Oh and you can't go wrong with Cambridge's Lifetime Warranty.
