A valuable resource for those who counsel couples,
By Rosemary K. Hendrix (PSL, FL United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ministering to Intermarried Couples: A Resource for Clergy and Lay Workers (Paperback)
This book balances the latest in Family Therapy with a Christian approach to marriage. The most common problems experienced in marriages are discussed and coping strategies are presented. This resource is particulary valuable for those involved in intermarriages, as well as for counselors dealing with intermarried couples. This book, written primarily for professionals counseling intermarried couples, is a valuable adjunct to When You Intermarry, a book by the same author - Charles Joanides - specifically for intermarried couples and their families. They are most helpful when used together, preparing couples for both the joys and the trials of marriage.
