I'm surprised no one has written a review for this album. guess i'll be the first. Well this album is not really about Anthems, but more about Dance Classics.. "Anthems" just makes it sound more elite i guess. It is a rather sophisticated album with a nice chronological transition from early 90s to present day dance music. I was never really into this music until a few years ago, so I obviously didn't know most of the songs included in cds 1 & 2.. I knew most of the songs on the third disc though. This is a very good mix, well mixed of songs I didn't quite know. CD 1 is offers old school house, CD 2 travels from funky house, to garage house, and to acid & anthem trance. CD 3 has more recent classics.. It is my favorite IMO, since It was nice to have some of my favorite recent house favorites in one cd. To me it was well worth the money.

Is is true that some, or rather, most of this songs have been on previous mos compilations, so if you already have them, then don't buy this mix. But if you are not familiar with music from early 90s, this is a very good cd for your collection, you will highly enjoy it. Plus there is a second edition of this album to be released late Nov. 2008.. so will see what that one has to offer.

If you have to have one dance CD this year, this is it!!! From Robin S to Jaydee,

this disc rocks the party so damn hard. Back into the days when I was clubbin. Well produced & the mixes are the BOMB!!!! In you car, CD player at home, you will sweat.
