God spoke through prophets in Old Testament, and He speaks through the Son and the Church in New Testament. He is a speaking God, because He wants to build His chosen ones together by His living words. This book unveiled a very basic principle of supplying life to each other by speaking for God: a believer should speak for God according to what he is, but not according to what he knows. His regenerated being is his ministry, and his speaking according to this divine new being is his word ministry for the sake of life supply in the Church. What he knows transfers knowledge, which results in puffing up. What he is (regenerated new being) transfers life, which brings about life supply and building up. The book is classic and a must for the believer who wants to speak for God according to God's heart's desire but not according to his own personal preference.

Watchman Nee is a gift to the Body as this book illustrates to any reader who is seeking to know how to minister God's Word. Brother Nee was a living sacrifice during his lifetime,and because of his sufferings, his experiences, and his intimate relationship with the Lord, the Lord passed on many revelations to him which he in turn shared with the Body through his writings...not just anyone can open up the Bible and read God's Word, then speak forth Christ to someone...he shows in this book what the qualifications are to put yourself in a position to truly "minister" the Word of God.
