Andrew Murray has written a book with tremendous insight into the power of prayer and the need for intercession. He tackles common questions head on and has scriptural backing for his answers. I found the book very helpful in my own prayer life and have seen amazing results. Learning to pray correctly is vital to Christianity and this book outlines it well. I highly recommend it. It will change your prayer life.

This book has been of great inspiration for me...The book came sent to my house of which I did'nt order. I also kept hearing this word of intercession, but was unsure of it's meaning. This book helped me dramatically in my spirtual life , along with the holy spirits guidance. This book was also passed to 4 other readers and one couple who's life was changed dramatically. If you haven't read this book and you have a desire to have a deeper relationship with God, and have questions on prayer, I suggest picking it up...

Andrew Murray's books are classics. Very few I have read by this man of God are bad books and most are very simple to read with short chapters.

This book on intercessory prayer is one of his best. I found that this is a great book to read before bed since the chapters are short. This book offers biblical insight into intercessory prayer and unlike many books written today on intercessory prayer, Murray offers many Scriptural insights to back up his chapters on prayer.

Murray was a great missionary to Africa and was a man who lived this book. This book will challange your prayer life and will give you the desire to touch the heavens for this earth.

I think this book is excellent. Andrew Murray is my favorite Christian writer. I gave most of the books I bought away. I am in the process of reading it again.

Every christian should read this book. Andrew Murray had great insight into the word of God that is needed today. He lays down a challenge to forget about ourselves and live to pray for others, trusting God to take care of our needs. The heart of intercession is to lay down our lives for others. In my opinion, Andrew Murray is right in there with E.M.Bounds when it comes to prayer.

This book is not an easy read. The author fills each page with thought provoking material. I found myself having to set the book down every other page or so to process the information.

A great book for anyone seeking to become a prayer warrior who desires to intercede for others through prayer.

Additonally, importunity in prayer is a subject not often taught from the pulpit, in my experience. The author gives important insights into this arena of prayer exercise. God wants us to wrestle with Him.

Besides the content, the book arrived in good condition in a timely fashion. Highly recommended reading for anyone looking to improve the quality of their prayers.

I read this book three times. It is a hard read but it is worth understanding the concept of prayer.

I absolutely love this book. It has helped me grow in my walk with Jesus, and really get a better understanding of what prayer really is... not just for my own life, but for others around me, and many I have never met. It really is amazing! Read it and let God bless your relationship with Him!!!

It seems a little cumbersome but that may have more to do with the time it was written. I'm still 'working' my way through it.
