Same old, with a twist.,

This is for the USA version, but if you search carefully there is a UK an and AUS version floating around here somewhere. I have listened to all 3 and they all have very positive things going on. Any verison you get will be worth the money spent, so no worries.

The annual always brings the best in dance music and this year's album once again brings the beats! Excellent compilation all around - my favs are definitely PATT, This is NY (Miami), Love Don't Let Me Go, Be Still, and World Hold On. Whether you've been hiding in a cave and haven't any of these tracks, or know em all and want a a compilation of the best - pick this one up!

I have listened to ths CD and I must say it is a pleasure from beginning to end. I am not a dance/techno fanatic but this CD has got me back into the groove. The tracks are very enjoyable and danceable. Having a party? Just pop this CD in and you'll be dancing the whole night. 5 STARS!

Same Old, Same Old...Ultra Annual 2007...,

I'm used to these "lame" albums, I wanted real hits of 2006-2007, but this aren't really... Best songs are "Love Don't Let Me Go," "PATT," "Feel Alive," "Be Still," "Watchin'," "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit," & "Living On Video"...there's other good tracks, but with afoul remixes such as "Tiesto's" Dance4life, and Outwork's "Elektro" not to mention Axwell's "Watch the Sunrise" (the orinals of this trakcs are perfect, there was no need to re-mix them!) both CD's are about the same quality, the mixing is not great either, but like i said, i'm used to the "same old, same old" compilations from Ultra records....

I'm not going to waste too many keystrokes critizing this compilation by the infamous MOS because I'd be here all day. I just had to listen to a recent "Annual" to see if it has changed gears in the last 10 years. Well they have, and for the worse. The Annual for 2007 sounds like something I would expect to hear on a Clubbers' Anthems compilation.Disc 1 get 1.5/5 stars and disc 2, 2/5 stars.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I was very pleased by the selections for Ministry of Sound. It is even better than The 2006 and 2005 annuals which are still worth perusing! I find myself not able to turn off the cd player. The cd tricked me into enjoying the voice of Paris Hilton, which until this cd was pure dissonance. Of course, anything Benassi is kosher and a great hit by van Helden. Michael Gray, who mixed Can't wait for the weekend to begin, comes back with a bouncey hip-hop track. Over all, an excellent buy; however, I would have chosen a few different tracks to my annual.

It's a bit different from what I thought the music would be, but it was awesome nonetheless. I really enjoy it, and look forward to playing it over and over (and over again)

This was my first MOS:The Annual purchase, and overall i was pretty disappointed, but mostly because I dont love the vocal house that was shoved in my face for 2 hours. Also, if you buy any Hed Kandi albums from 2006, any Cream Compilations or any other 06 MOS albums, you are going to hear a lot of the same material. Aside from all that, if you are into house/deep house (with a taste of electro/tech) I would definitely recommend this CD, because you are getting 24 pretty solid tracks in that area, but sadly it just wasnt for me.
